1940s SEARS ROEBUCK BLANKET-LINED DENIM CHORE COAT

$494.00

This is a pre-1950s Sears Roebuck & Co. blanket-lined denim chore coat, built as true American workwear for industrial, farm, and railroad labor. Constructed with a heavyweight indigo denim shell, striped wool blanket lining, corduroy collar, and donut-style metal buttons, this jacket reflects the rugged, no-frills construction Sears was known for in the mid-20th century.

The hand-stitched chest name “K. GRIGG” adds one-of-one character and authentic provenance, while the natural fading and wear tell a story earned through decades of use. A rare and highly collectible example of early Sears workwear, rivaling Carhartt and Montgomery Ward pieces from the same era.
